First things first! I don't wanna take credit for the game whatsoever! This is and was Kennys original idea

That said! Some people were exciting to get it started so I just felt the responsibility to make it done!

The building (built by our favorite Italian Stef) for the game is located at spawn right by the portalhub.
Inside you will find signs with players participating as well as their coords for their "Potatochest".

There is a chest in the middle containing 2 books! One is for the rules/guides and the other is for the coords to each players chest.
Please read the rules so you are clear on how the game works.
If you bring the CCC (Chest Coords Central) book with you to find a players chest DON'T forget to bring it back in mint condition But I recommend to write it down on a piece of paper so you don't risk losing it.

Hot Potato is a game where anyone can participating. The Basic rule is simple. If your chest contains the "Hot Potato" you have a certain time limit to move it to another players chest located at their base.

The coordinates for each players chest is written on the wall inside the "Hot Potato" building at spawn, and also in the CCC (Chest Coords Central) book.
Should a player move his or hers chest they have to change the coords in the book and on sign.

When you give a player the "Hot Potato" you have to make a post in this thread stating who you gave it to. That player then has 24 hours to move it to another player. Should you fail to move it within the time you have to pay 1 diamond to the player that placed the "Hot Potato".
A player that just had the "Hot Potato" will be immune for 48 hours (2 days) before s/he can have it again.

Not in the game? Fear not.

Place a chest on top of a redstonelamp with a lever. Write down the coordinates and place a sign inside the "Hot Potato" building in the same style as the others.
That's it. You are in the game!

Life is to short to have to babysit a potato, even if an hot one!
Since KelPet gave a good amount of hardened clay in donation to the potato cause, I feel like the hot topic has to go to him.

+1 rule - Block ontop of chests means your out because your away or cant play.

Also do we have a place that says who is out as they did not pass the potato on quick enough?

So if the times show independently for each person depending on their timezone it seems you wrote your post 2 hours after deadline according to the time Met4nolo wrote his. But I don't wanna be a judge

As for Kafunamapas idea. I will add it to the rules and guides. Seems logic to place a block if you know you will be away for a couple of days.

Noone gets eliminated in the game. After you had the potato you are immune for 48 hours then someone can place it at your place again.

Some suggestions. You should make a topic per game.
With a timer on the first page for the countdown.
When the game is over you should say "THIS GAME IS OVER" or something, because kelpet thinks he didn't lose or something

I am so sorry guys, I have been working and my mom just had surgery so I have been taken care of her and when I am not doing that I am working sorry my work schedule looks to get lighter in the next couple of weeks

I have given the potato to Luisa (MrsMeowys) hope I am within the time limit, now that I am semi back/back I would like to get together with Lord to rewrite the rules the way I envisioned them if that is okay with him, I thank him for taking charge with the game while I was unable to.

You are welcome concerning the game! As I didn't know exactly how you had envisioned it I just made the "rules" in a easy straightforward direction! Of course we can work together if that's what you want!

All players have a chest, I have the coords written both on paper and ingame on sign/book so that job is taken care of! Just contact me when you wanna work on it! we can use TS for easy communication =)

I have off saturday, so I guess that would be best I will let you know tomorrow what my day is going to be like Saturday though I know I have to take my Niece to lunch then I should be free.

Hehe! fair point! I never took a responsibility for being a "game master" and monitor the game for each movement! I thought it was pretty straight forward. But since Kenny is back and it is his game from the beginning we will work on it together as he mentioned in a previous post!

So maybe it is best to pause it for now.

A game always turns out better if it has more than one person working on it.
