1.7 Snapshot Pictures

After exploring a bit I came across some mountains with snow on top. Mountain peaks look really epic when it's night and snowing:

I don't know. Never tried it out myself. But as many people say so I'm afraid that could be true.

amplified is mostly vertical, which i don't think would work out for us, unless we wanted to make a village that had a lot of bridges connecting the mountain tops.

Why not? Waterfalls, wooden bridges, built in houses inside mountains... And you would have an awesome view from the top of the mountains.

the mountains are so high the ground doesn't load so it's almost like your in a world of floating mountains.... wait i like that idea.

Haha. The reason we do not make an amplified mode world is because it's really massive, mountains that goes up to 200 blocks and unfortunately not every computer can handle it.

they go higher that 200 a lot get up to 250.

Even in normal mode blocks can general up at heights above 100. One of the blocks in one of the pictures I posted was at 137 cool

some of the new mountain biomes can get up to 160+ with out amplified.

Here's some pictures of when I was ether exploring or messing with the snapshots.

The large mountains in the savanna that reached above cloud height.

Spawning Ender dragons.

I spawned about 12 Ender dragons that day. It took a while to kill them all.

Just a thought, we can make a large Enderdragon fighting arena somewhere in the new map for fighting Enderdragons some time in the future.

that might not work well they fly through things and destroy blocks don't they..... it might have to be in the end. oh wait i keep forgetting mob Griefing is off.

We spawned a bunch of withers to kill a dragon, was hilarious xD

Not possible, I tested this by turning mob griefing off on a creative worldand placed a dragon in the box, and the dragon just flies through the wall of the box. So you can't keep the Enderdragon as a pet. But the dragon flying out of the arena, so we have to place the arena in an area away from farms, other players, and the Wither fighting arena just in case someone is fighting a Wither at the same time.

this will be a massive challenge since we'll need a massive arena.

Or we can put the Enderdragon fighting arena in the End away from the main island and the and farm.
