First topic message reminder :

I love to hear and see what people are working on, but it's not always easy to go round and catch up with everyone in game. So I thought it would be nice if we all posted about our current projects on this thread, and maybe post updates with progress, or when you complete or start something new!

I am currently working on my underground base. It is deep beneath my fort, from bedrock up! I have finished the entrance / Throne room, and I think I am finally happy with the way it looks. I've finished the storage room and am now working on a dungeon! It's at bedrock level, and looks really creepy with the void fog. Inspired by Carters prison, I may have to get some villagers trapped down there!

I'm at work now, but I'll post some screen shots of what I've done so far.

I have a few unbraking III pick axes and all iron.

Thanks guys, But Lu made me feel bad for not being able to get it myself! So I enchanted a few Diamond picks. Got Silk touch + Eff, Fortune + Eff, then Fortune, Eff + Unbreaking. So I guess I'll use that one for now! lol

This is all part of my underground base! Now I am working on a library. Been collecting leather for a while, so I'd be ready, but I've just run out of books! Book cases are so tiresome to make! lol

i dont have leather supply but i do have paper supply
if you need them you can grab them from my farm

Thanks. I was collecting leather in between digging out that underground village, and I had planned out the whole thing in creative while the server was down those couple of days. So I managed to bash it out quite quickly.

I just added a panic room to my base... Just because I am running out of things to put behind secret doors! and I do love secret doors!

I've also added a new Bio Dome for 'The End' Complete with an incubation chamber for a Ender Dragon Egg! Seems to be missing something though..?

Do you get lost in your base yet will? Its looking great. Should have asked me for leather i have a chest and a half of leather.

Funny you should say that Carter, I have started taking a few wrong turns... :hmm: I've never had a base big enough to get lost in before!

The problem is I have a hard time remembering the exact layout, which makes it hard to know where I can expand and fit things in. As it is all underground, I can't even use the Dynmap or anything to get a good ariel view! I think I'm gonna have to sit down and try to draw the layout!

All my corridors are the same shape, but decorated differently, so I usually have a good idea where I am in my base. Here are my latest corridors:

the Dynmap does a cave view which shows under ground passages.

Yeah, I tried that, but my base is surrounded by a huge cave system and abandoned mineshaft, so I couldn't really make out my base. I'll have another look though if the map comes back up!

I just completed 4 spawning platforms for my iron farm, plan to expand it downwards (it'll have 3 below because 1 more would be in the way of Lu's cathedral)

Of course, if I have the motivation, I'll expand it upwards to have 3 layers (highly doubt it'll happen because getting villagers to specific holding cells are annoying)

The collection area for the iron is right above the waiting area for the gold farm
So just climb a bit more above and you'll see chests there

Oh good job Sam! I'll have to come see. Yeah, those Villagers are a pain. I didn't think you were that close to Lu's place though?

it won't be nice if you build a really nice big build but there's an ugly iron spawning platform nearby lol

but well, i dont want my iron farm to interfere with your original plans, so if you don't want that spawning platform to be build at the bottom near your cathedral then I wouldn't
