| In 1.7 updates, there will be new biomes. New grass, plants, and sub biomes. If we update to 1.7 when it comes out, which will be minecon, which is 2 months from now, there will be chunk errors. The kind I mean are the sheer cliffs on right angles that are a stark transition from old generation to new. We don't want this. Discuss what we will do! |

| I kinda wanted to wait and see what happens to our map when 1.7 comes out and then we'll figure out on what to do. |

| I think that transition with new generated terrain (after 1.7) will be smooth, and without that chunk errors with cut out mountines and similar .
World generation is now improwed since they implemented Jungle biomes in Minecraft :-) |

| Would the new 1.7 chunks contain all of the 1.7 features? I want cherry blossom trees at my place. |

| We will wait until 1.7 to see how messed up our map gets. If it is bad, then we'll do something about it. I'm really excited for the new biomes and the better transitions and no more desert next to snow. Took ya long enough Mojang! |

| Jeb has tweeted that there will be new biomes. He has also tweeted little sneak peeks :DIt looks like there will be cliffs and redwood biomes
Edit: the cliffs will be an actual biome that can border the ocean, not a chunk loading error |

| Long before they started with Snapshots . I think they dont want to people over do with snapshots and testing and then their worlds get corrupted or something, since this will be one of bigest changes in Minecraft since 1.2 or something . Thats what I think :-) |

| Alright then, that sounds pretty understandable. We'll see what we can do when we see the map after we get to 1.7. Like what my mom said, we'll cross that bridge when we get there.  |
