| The Region of Valliana Server: Nameless
I've found a nice spot to start work, and I'm currently in the process of earmarking the land. My plans are to build an oriental (possibly) style region, complete with dojo, gates, houses, etc. I'll be posting and updating this thread with WIP and status images and descriptions.
Overview I've yet to lay down any specific plans, but I have broken the region down like so: [Only admins are allowed to see this image]
Temple Area - The main feature that will tower over the rest. Town Area - Housing and urban sprawl - the valley in that area will sport a dojo. Tea Gardens - Few buildings. A tea room, a few fancy houses. Focus on natural seclusion. Icy Reach - Not sure if I will develop this area, but it is earmarked for a Tibetan Monastery
To begin with I'll be working on the Temple Area. [Only admins are allowed to see this image]
Community There will be a minecart station, connection to the main road to the west and north, and I'm open to ideas and involvement as long as they fit the oriental motif.

| At the edge of the known world I found a section jutting out that looked suitable. I've made the journey, and I have decided on this area. I've updated the first post.
I'll still be making a long road north along with a minecart. A Nether portal will also be put up.
I'll let you know if I need any shifting done. |

The project is the same in essence. It will still be broken down, I just have a more workable shape and terrain rotation to work with. I'll post more about my plans tomorrow. x: 14000 y: 16000 |

| Cobblestone Factory As ever, I'm going to need a large amount of cobblestone to turn into smoothstone, and then to bricks. Thanks to the large amount of redstone I found during my travels I was able to start right up.

The factory produces a large amount of cobblestone, and it can be upgraded and expanded to produce more, and faster too. |

| I'm currently designing the walls and buildings, not to mention the ground layout. I'm open to ideas, and once I have some ground plans down, I'll see where it can fit in. |

| As the nights seem longer than the days, and mining cobble is only so much fun with skeletons and zombies trying to help out, a security fence has been added.
[Only admins are allowed to see this image] For speed, a second generator has been added. It takes just under two minutes and thirty seconds to refill the workfloor. |

| With the DynMap offline, planning has taken a bit of a slowdown (overhead GPS is very handy for planning).
I have re-shaped the entire plateau for the temple, building up the cliff walls and filling in the gaps. The actual cliff faces need sculpting, but they are there.
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
The plans include a bridge across the river to reach the plateau, the main temple, and the surrounding gardens.
I've manually created a map of the plateau, and I'm starting to plan the temple interior.
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
With the plateau complete, I upgraded my dirt shack into a nicer igloo. [Only admins are allowed to see this image]
Basic temple plans in place, I measure the width and length of the plateau to find the best center spot. A simple 10 block ruler is all I need for that.
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
The center determined, I can lay out some basic ground patterns. |
