Tomorrow is the UHC Event -

To participate you will need -


1) To be able to play for a couple of hours from 5PM GMT onwards
2) To use Minecraft 1.4.6 -

MINECRAFT 1.4.6.JAR - [Only admins are allowed to see this link]

OLD MINECRAFT LAUNCHER - [Only admins are allowed to see this link]

HOW TO INSTALL 1.4.6 -----

First, press the start button, and type into the search bar %appdata%
Click on Roaming, followed by .minecraft, then the 'bin' folder
Inside of that folder should be a minecraft.jar file.
Delete that jar file and replace it with the one I supplied above
After doing that, use the OLD minecraft launcher to run minecraft.
You're now running 1.4.6 :3

I put my current .jar file onto my desktop and put the 1.4.6 .jar in it's place.

That should work.

When I do that, my old launcher stops at the loading page after clicking the "Log in" button.

Hm... are you sure you are using the old launcher not the new?

I'm using the old launcher, I never deleted it or anything. The new launcher can work just fine without a .Jar file. I checked with Magic launcher to see if it recognizes the 1.4.6 .jar file and it does. Just the old launcher doesn't recognize the 1.4.6 .jar file.

Hmmm try to force update the old launcher before installing the 1.4.6 jar

I moved the 1.4.6 .jar to the desktop, force update the old launcher, deleted the 1.5.2 .jar and put the 1.4.6 .jar in it's place. Still getting the same results. I even turned off opit fine.

Try update java.

I updated Java yesterday. Every time Java needs an update, it'll always tell me and I update it.

Make detailed screenshots of your issues.

I'm fairly sure 1.4.7 jar will work for 1.4.6 servers too

Now I know why it doesn't work, Minecraft couldn't reconize the file and Magic launcher can. Next time, I should remember to take out the "(#)" before switching .jars around..... ^^;

lol, I did the same thing Kirby! I renamed the Minecraft.jar so I wouldn't get the old and new one mixed up. Got the same error you did till I changed the name back.

Well done Ross! How did you finally take Mallet out? I'll be better prepared next time!

He tried sneaking up on me by crouching behind the spawn box of obsidian, but I saw him and put on my strength 2 + speed 2, then rushed him. With the element if surprise and my sharpness 2 diamond sword, I took him out with one hit and not one bit if damage to myself

Ha, poor Mallet, never stood a chance.
