Nice, do you just put the wool in yourself? Now if you were to have Iron's Woolanator attached, that would be truely epic!

It looks like you just dump all your wool in that double chest at the top? Then it gets sorted into the correct storage chest? If you had Iron's wool farm though, you could shear afk and the wool could be carried by the water and dropped into this sorting system.

Yep... sadly hoppers won't work. Ony if there were dirt/grass slabs, which would be amazing. I guess it only works with a woolinator. I will ask Nathan help I guess!

I like how your farm keeps all the colours seperate though. So you can jump in and just get the colours you want! That's the trouble with the woolinator, you get every colour, whether you want it or not! lol

yea your right you put the wool in the top left and it will auto sort, were working on individual color pins right now. but this is just a small sorter to work out any bugs before i build my entire storage room into an automatic sorter

Looks great and it works! A lot of thought process and man hours went ino this project. It actually looks different than the first pic bigwill posted as it now has seperate pens for all the different colored sheep. Quick and easy to use and I know I will be taking advatage of it!

im not sure who JL is but the concept behind it is not really that hard at all and its real basic. I am Pretty sure there are probably over 1000 youtube videos on item sorters for this game. this design fit the project so that is what i used, and so far 3 days it been running flawless all the filters and over flows are working as expected and never had a single problem with the system that i know of.

Yeah, I use that exact same sorting system for a few of my things. Using it for an entire storage room would be epic though! Just imagine never having to sort your items again! Just drop them in a chest and everything gets stored away in the correct storage chest! So much redstone and hoppers though...

Yea 3 hoppers per chest and one repeater a Redstone torch, comparator and 2 prices of Redstone. If water is used it can save 1 hopper per item
