| That's what I love about Minecraft. There is more than one way to do everything, and no way is the right way. |

| I guess you just put one hopper on the side or back of the furnace for the fuel Put a hopper on top for the stuffs u wanna smelt and a hopper at the bottom for the smelted item |

| Yeah, I'll have a play around with it, I just thought someone might have a super effiecient design, with multiple furnaces for faster smelting, all feeding into one 'completed' chest! |

If I'm not around, there is a small storage chamber off the throne room in my base. It's full of all my overflow cobble. Just help yourself to as much as you want! |

| For a moment I got very excited, thinking there was some way involving hoppers to smelt infinitely without fuel, oh the disappointment |

lol, you and me both! Sam, it should affect it as it will be more than 70 blocks apart so they will all be counted as seperate villages. |

| Sorry, typo. SHOULDN'T!! lol
Building material wise, If you look at mine, it is mostly made out of snow, as I set up a snow farm next to it whilst I built it. The one Nath built with Kody is made of wool, and they set up a huge sheep farm.
It makes it a lot easier if you have an infinate source or building materials for the farm. Just something to think about, you are still welcome to as much of my cobble as you want! |

| I never said it didn't need fuel... Charcoal is the easiest thing you can ever do in this game anyway. |

| Wow this thread got way off topic. But as far as smooth stone, nothing beats an eff V, silktouch diamond pick and a Haste 2 beacon. |

| Ok on topic. Sandstone would probably fit better, since the castle is "yellowish" And blue for the roofs Some pictures of the outside to help you out - Spoiler:

| Wow, those are some amazing pictures of the castle, I'll definitely be able to use them! Anyways though, it's update time!
This time not on the server though, I decided to first try building the great hall in creative mode. Since it is probably the most iconic part of Hogwarts, I want it to look perfect. I feel like I did a much better job now! I used stone brick for the roofs, as there are no wool stairs or slabs, which is what I also need for creating the best roof possible, and it actually looks pretty nice too.

Of course the interior hasn't really been done yet. There's three floors in the current building, a basement that I plan on using as my storage room, the great hall that I will keep authentic, and an attic that can be seen in the pictures of which I have no idea yet. Feedback is always appreciated!

| Try again, I think something went wrong with the last 3 pictures as I also couldn't see them myself, but should work now!
Edit: Also, how do I place the pictures within a spoiler? |
