| it took me just over a day and yes building at y 24 so well under a lava lake. only mildly annoying to build. |

Even without the dynmap, me and Nathan found tons in the first day. But what's easy for you isn't always easy for everyone... Especially since all the easy to reach quartz was mined out in the first few days... |

| At the end of my tunnel where my portal is, there's a cave. It has no Nether quartz though. I can always make a new tunnel connecting my cave to find it. But it's going to be a long tunnel though. |

| i whet to the bend in F6's tunnel and dug around there the whole area is newly loaded only took 1/4 of what i could find in a very small area. still likely 50+ stacks worth out in that small space.
I'm hoping he makes a quartz mining base out there. |

| Oh, a public Quartz mining base would be great! Somewhere easy to get to, with a rail ideally and close to lots of unexplored chunks! |
