Christmas is on it's way and everyone is becoming excited about getting presents and spending time with family and friends. Since we need a Christmas event, we're doing a contest for building Christmas tree to kick onto the Christmas spirit! [Only admins are allowed to see this image]

The contest will go from today and the last day will be on Christmas. The 26 of December is the server's 2nd anniversary and the day that the Christmas tree will be judged to find out who the winner is. Since the building contest arena is under construction, the Christmas tree for the contest will be built at your place instead. Here's some guide lines.

[Only admins are allowed to see this image]The Christmas tree needs to be no wider then 10x10 blocks and no taller then 50 blocks tall.
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]Dark oak wood logs, Spruce wood logs, Spruce leaves, Dark oak leaves,and oak leaves are recommended for the tree. (Birch leaves are good if you live in a desert or Savanna).
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]Make sure you decorate your Christmas tree to make it look good! You may even place presents under the tree.
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]Be original, make sure it looks good!
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]Only use colorful blocks, no dull colors like black, brown, and gray. You can use Glowstone, torches, and redstone torches.
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]No copying a Christmas tree from someone else or from the internet. They should be easy to build since it's triangle shaped. You may look at Christmas trees for ideas on how you want your tree to look.
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]One Christmas tree per person.
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]Most importantly, have fun! Remember to post your Christmas tree on the topic for all to see.

I'll try ... can't prommise anything fancy looking though, most likely natural tree with minimalistic decoration :-P

This is sad, it seems like no one wants to join the conest and Lu is the only person that wants to join in the contest. I took a lot of time to come up with this contest and no one else wants to come.

I have never even seen this topic before, to be honest? Too many other active topics I suppose. I don't know if I have the time for this xD but if I have managed to build something I'll let you know by posting in this topic again.

Tomorrow's Christmas and everyone will be busy with family and stuff, it'll be better to have the contest next year.

Sorry about not participating in the contest, although if I may ask, why did you suggested it if you aren't even going to rate the participants' trees? I mean, in the original post, you said that they would be rated on the 26th of December and now all of a sudden you're postponing it to next year...just seems odd to me and unfortunate for those that actually spent some time doing the said trees.

But hey, this isn't any of my business, so I'll let you decide for yourself since you made the contest in the first place

Lol. No I didnt expect it to be judged. Although, you know everyone participated in building the tree at spawn right? And it has turned into a really nice tree, so maybe just give everyone one diamond for participating in that?
And next year. Keep the topic active and bump it, because I doubt most people even saw the topic alas
