| I know there's a thread for what we're working on but this is going to be an ongoing progress report so I thought it best to make a new thread.
This is what I'm currently working on:
This is the Mine. It covers the length and breadth of Willstep Manor. I have a system that allows me to physically see every block from level 10 to level 65 (without any mods or cheats). I dig in such a way that I see every block eventually.

This is the Auto-Furnace in the Mine. I drop the cobble or ore blocks in it and then continue mining. They smelt while I'm away. The top chest drops the aggregate into the furnace which drops the smelted material into the Aggregate Elevator (more on that later). The chest in the back makes sure the furnace has plenty of fuel.

This is the bottom of the Aggregate Elevator. The Auto-Furnace outputs into this via hoppers and the chest you see mid frame is what I use if I want something taken to the main floor but not smelted, such as gravel or redstone, et c.. It's a quiet design and uses droppers facing up and a comparator for a logic circuit.

this is a better view of it. [Only admins are allowed to see this image]
This is the start of my indoor tree farm. It does pretty good. I just felled the trees that were there so it's sparse right now.

The last one for this post is my Waste Disposal Unit. I don't like waiting until I find lava to dump my trash so I built this. The chest and hopper feed a dropper which pushes the trash through a glass block into a 1x1 lava block. The dropper is powered by a redstone clock. The redstone torch on the left flashes when the pulse goes around the clock so I know it's on. Since the dropper is noisy I put an on/off switch using a comparator so the dropper is not clicking everytime the pulse hits it. That way I can load it up if I wanted to and then burn everything at one time.

That's it for now. |

| Seems to me like you are a redstoner, which is good, we need more knowledgeable redstoners! I look forward to seeing more stuff |
