I'm happy to tell you that the even will come to life (After me being theoretically dead for a few days).
Here's a quick reminder of the rules :

• Two teams, red and blue, each one has 24H to build a fortress as big as it wants in survival mode on an infinite map.
  
• The map is split between negative X and positive X, blue team is allowed to build and gather resources on negative X and red team is allowed to build and gather resources on positive X.
  
• When 24 hours have passed, teams can no longer build.
  
• We set a precise date and hour for the fight (Making sure the hour is the most convenient to cope with timezone issues), at which building and PvP will become enabled again without restriction.
  
• All armors, weapons and Minecraft features enabled, the fight lasts for an hour and we count the deaths, players disconnecting for more than X minutes can no longer fight (To avoid players disconnecting not to be beaten, X must be set to be as fair as possible).
  
• keepInventory is set on true during building time to make building more efficient, it has to be set on false during fight time to avoid some players keeping badass stuff that would make them invincible.
  
• No need to smelt as well, just like in UHC the resources are gathered directly to make it more efficient considering the time limit.
  

The battle time will be chosen the same way as UHC events, we set the day then we start the battle when everybody or almost everybody is here.

I'll be really busy for a month, but I'll have some spare time during which I'll be available to help Nathan plan the event on the technical side. We might need some help configuring the plugins, so if anyone is interested in helping us, send me your contact so I can reach you quick.

EDIT : Alright, after some talk we decided to start building on a late Saturday (About 10pm GMT), which means that the building period will end on a Sunday at 10pm GMT (Yeah I know I'm good at math).

So now what we need is your opinion, because your voice counts (I'm a good public speaker too, I know) and we want as many people as possible during this huge event !

I cant do it the 16th, I know I could do the 9th. The other weekends I have no idea if I will be busy or not. Still not sure if I will though since my husband works a lot and weekends are our free time together and he cant join the server since he could rarely be on :/ As long as it isn't the 16th I will try to join though

I guess we can go with the 9th.

I hope we can get enough people in 3 days, I wonder how many pm's Sly has had so far?

I dont mind when it happens. whenever it is I will try to do it. Although I will be going on vacation at some point, not sure which weekend yet though :/

Yup, I am working the whole month.

Not saying it won't but I doubt this will happen.
